Dr. Ir. Krisna Wijaya, MM.,Member of Sharia Supervisory Board
Prof. H. Muhammad Amin Suma, Ph.D., BL, MA, MM acts as the Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law in the Islamic Syarif Hidayatullah State University, Jakarta. He possesses a long career in the Sharia Supervisory Board of numerous companies, including: PT MAA Syariah, BPRS Attaqwa Syariah, Bank Permata Syariah, Baituz-Zakah Pertamina, BNI’s Baitul Mal Umat Islam Foundation, and Republika Dhuafa Wallet. At Chubb Syariah, he takes the seat as the Chairman of the Sharia Supervisory Board since the establishment of Chubb Syariah as per the recommendation of the MUI National Sharia Board dated 2 October 2009.
Aside from that, he actively participates in numerous Islamic organization, became Chairman of the Himpunan Ilmuwan dan Sarjana Syariah Indonesia (HISSI) national administrative board, Vice Chairman of Fatwas Commission – Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Vice Chairman of the National Sharia Board – Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI), Vice Chairman of Sharia Economic Society of Experts Board, and the Board of Experts of Islamic Economy Union of Experts (IAEI).
Numerous papers in the field of Islamic religion have also been published, among others related to the sciences of Al Qur’an, Ahkam Interpretation, Conventional and Sharia Insurance, also the position and role of Islamic Law in the Lawstate of Indonesia.
Dr. Ir. Krisna Wijaya, MM served as a member of the Sharia Supervisory Board since Chubb Syariah was established, as recommended by the National Sharia Board – Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on 2 October 2009. Most of his career path was marked in the financial industry, particularly banking and has held several key positions, such as: Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and Banking Development Institute, Commissioner in both PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Danamon Tbk. He also serves as the Commissioner/Chief of Executive of the Deposit Insurance Corporation.
